1. Understanding your budget and affordability
Once you’ve got in contact, we’ll have an initial chat about your circumstances, and how we can support you with your mortgage.
2. Finding you the best lender and product
We’ll ask you to provide some documentation so we can search the market on your behalf to find you the best deal.
3. Getting your Agreement in Principle
We’ll provide you with an Agreement in Principle, so you know how much you can borrow and can begin looking at properties.
4. Placing an offer on a property
Once you’ve had an offer accepted, we’ll begin working on your full mortgage application.
5. Completing your full mortgage application
We’ll complete and submit your full mortgage application on your behalf, ensuring all details and documents are correct. We’ll keep you informed at every step of the way.
6. Property valuation, underwriting & formal mortgage offer
The lender will carry out a valuation of the property and complete their underwriting checks. Once everything is approved, they’ll issue a formal mortgage offer.
7. Exchange of contracts & completion
Your solicitor will arrange the exchange of contracts. On completion day, the remaining funds are transferred, and you’ll own the property.
8. Moving into your new home
You can collect the keys and move into your new home. We’ll be on hand for any final questions, and support you with your future mortgage needs.
